What Is Picture Path?

Picture Path is one of the daily picture puzzles in the Puzzle Page app. It works like a classic nonogram — you fill in cells based on row and column number clues — but with a twist: the picture is in full color. Each row and column has separate clue counts for each color used, and your job is to figure out exactly which color goes where.

Every daily Picture Path has a theme — a hot air balloon, a chef's hat, a snowman, a tropical bird, anything that benefits from multiple colors. The finished puzzle reveals a small pixel-art scene.

How to Read Our Picture Path Solutions

  • The grid shows the final solved state — every cell painted in the correct color.
  • Below the grid you'll see a color palette listing each color used along with how many cells it occupies.
  • The puzzle title above each grid tells you what scene the picture depicts.

Strategy Tips for Faster Solving

  • Treat each color as its own nonogram. The clues for one color don't interact with the clues for another, so you can solve color-by-color.
  • Start with the most-constrained color. A color that fills almost an entire row or column is locked in quickly.
  • Use empty space as information. A cell that can't fit any of the clue numbers must be background.
  • Cross-reference with the perpendicular axis. When a cell's color is confirmed, it constrains both its row and its column.
