What Is Word Search?

Word Search is a classic letter-grid puzzle in the Puzzle Page app. Each daily puzzle has a theme (animals, foods, places, occupations, and so on) and a word list. Your job is to find every word from the list hidden in the grid — words can run horizontally, vertically, or diagonally, and they can be spelled forwards or backwards.

Our solution pages show the complete letter grid alongside the word list — every word the puzzle hides. When path coordinates are available, we also highlight each word's location directly in the grid.

How to Read Our Word Search Solutions

• The grid shows the puzzle's letters exactly as published.
• The word list below the grid contains every word hidden in this puzzle's theme.
• If you want to check a specific word, scan the grid in the 8 standard directions starting from any cell that matches the word's first letter.

Strategy Tips for Faster Solving

• Look for rare letters first. If a word contains a Q, X, Z, or J, scan the grid for that letter — there will only be a few candidates.
• Scan one direction at a time. Going row-by-row for horizontal words, then column-by-column for verticals, then diagonals, is usually faster than scanning every direction at every cell.
• Don't forget reversed words. A word like OCEAN might be hidden right-to-left as NAECO.
• Use the theme as a hint. If the theme is ‘Trees’ and you spot OAK in the grid, that's almost certainly one of your targets.
